German Federal Railroad (DB) combustion powered rail car (VT). road number 98 9719. with control car (VS). road number 98 004. Dual motor design. built starting in 1955. Used in commuter service (branch lines). The cars look as they did around 1965.
Model The cars have frames constructed of die-cast metal. The motor car has a motor with a flywheel. Both axles on the motor car powered. The cars have a digital decoder for DCC and conventional operation. There is a sound generator with extensive sound functions. Maintenance-free LEDs are used for the headlights. marker lights. and interior lighting. They work in conventional operation and they can be controlled digitally. There are special operating couplers between the cars. The motor car can also be used by itself. Reproduction non-working couplers for installation on the ends of the train are included. Total length over the buffers 175 mm / 6-7/8.
